       Ava Stapleton is an artist based in Portland, Oregon. She is currently a student at Pacific Northwest College of Art, majoring in the Animated Arts with a focus on stop motion animation. On track to graduate in April of 2024, Ava began as a multimedia artist with heavy focus on painting. As her practice progressed she evolved into the use of diverse mediums such as illustration, sculpture, fabrication and much more. Her extensive experience in multiple mediums are what fuel the styles and themes in her animated creations. She aims to promote freedom of thought through her macabre creations and unorthodox satire, catering towards the peculiar corners of life.
